Pandora to enter Indian market

diamond world news service

Pandora has plans to step foot into the Indian retail market, as per reports. For this it is engaging a local distributor for its jewellery, as per reports.

The jeweller is looking at opening 50 stores in the country during the next three years and considers this move as one that will support its overall global expansion plans. The company notes that in the Indian market, jewellery is gaining popularity in the context of fashion elements and with the country being one of the biggest jewellery markets in the world, there is a lot of potential for Pandora jewellery in the country, reports add. At the same time, Pandora views that the market holds strong roots in demand for gold and diamond jewellery and a consumer behaviour shift could be an advantage for Pandora’s growth in the country.
