The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is preparing to host the India Pavilion with 16 exhibitors across categories including jewellery, loose stones and machinery at Vicenzaoro Winter 2017. The trade fair is slated between 20-25th January 2017 at Vicenza Italy.

GJEPC Chairman Praveenshankar Pandya said, “Europe has been an important market for the Indian gem and jewellery industry and Italy is an entry point for Europe in general and EU countries. Participation of Indian exhibitors not only helps us to improve our trade but it also helps us to understand the market better and come up with jewellery pieces as per the latest and future trends for this market.”

Vicenzaoro is a leading event for the international jewellery industry, and is attended by a large number of international companies and buyers and visitors from around the world. With around 1500 exhibiting companies from across the globe, presence at the Vicenzaoro is indispensable in the sector as it is the first event on the international calendar. The exhibition concept combines jewellery, fashion, design and innovation with famous international brands.

The India Pavilion at the 2017 edition of the event will promote jewellery, loose stones and machinery. India’s total exports of gems and jewellery to Europe accounted for US$ 3.28 billion in 2016.
