The company noted that the backdrop of overall positive sentiments in the Indian diamond manufacturing industry, notwithstanding the Diwali holiday break and India’s demonetization steps taken, its inclusion mapping systems sales have continued robustly.
Of the 24 systems being delivered in the said quarter, 15 were of the MeteorTM model for small stones, 7 were SolarisTM systems, 1 was a GalaxyTM 1000 model and 1 was a GalaxyTM Ultra system.
The company did not reveal final numbers for the quarter, yet concluded that it expects revenues in the said quarter o touch in excess of US$ 18 million, in line with or slightly better than its previous best Q4 on record (US$ 18.3 million) and constituting an improvement on a sequential as well as on a year-over-year basis.
