Platinum EVARA awarded BRAND OF THE YEAR 2016-17

‘Platinum EVARA’, the bridal jewellery collection received the recognition of “BRAND OF THE YEAR 2016-17 – THE EMERGING NO.1 IN THE JEWELLERY CATEGORY” at the Pride of India awards recently held in Mumbai. The brand was awarded the honour by the World Consulting and Research Company (WCRC), Asia’s leading research and consulting firm.

Platinum EVARA overtook other brands competing in the same category of “Brand of the Year - Emerging no.1 Brands” including Tanishq, PC Chandra, PN Gadgil and Lumineux.

The WRC initiative creates a collective focus on the brands which would be the ‘next big thing’ in their respective categories. The same is achieved through intensive primary and secondary research.

The selection process was based on an exhaustive and in-depth survey mapping various elements like brand promise/ growth, Year on Year growth, reach, penetration, goodwill, recall, and market acceptance etc. The final winner - Platinum EVARA was arrived at from a shortlist of 100 brands.

Although Platinum EVARA is in its nascent stage of the product life cycle, it has received an encouraging response from consumers. Research indicates a 55 percent awareness and a 31 percent purchase intent for the brand amongst target audiences over the last two years. Consumers identify with platinum as a clear symbol of love and see the metal as stylish, precious and attractive. The consumer response for Platinum EVARA has the retailers’ upbeat about the brand.

Platinum Evara took to the retail scene in November 2014 where PGI initiated to create and build another platinum milestone. The name EVARA is rooted in Sanskrit and stands for blessings and carries with it the platinum promise of everlasting love.
