London Diamond Bourse plans to reduce its carbon footprint

The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) is taking the initiative to reduce its carbon footprint, as per reports. For this, it is measuring the impact of its business on the environment taking the assistance of international carbon consultancy Carbon-Expert and working alongside CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, together to promote the Jewellery Industry Measurement Initiative, as per reports.

London Diamond Bourse notes that every company must bear responsibility towards a sustainable supply chain including the diamond and jewellery sector. It noted that, ‘becoming carbon neutral meant we assessed our current emissions and are taking steps to reduce them through energy saving and business considerations’. LDB is located in Hatton Garden.
