ABN to plea against ban on LaSalle sale

According to reports, ABN Amro is planning to appeal against the Dutch court decision to stop the $21bn (£10.5bn) sale of its US arm LaSalle to Bank of America.

Price of ABN shares have gone down 3pc to €35.20 since it rejected the consortium's offer for LaSalle in favour of BoA.

The Dutch bankhad affronted a $24.5 billion offer for LaSalle from a rival consortium led by Royal Bank of Scotland since important issues related to financing, shareholder approval etc.,were not clear.
