diamond world news service

The India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) schedule for this year has been postponed to January 2017, as per reports. The new dates have yet to be announced. The organizers of the show had previously postponed the event to take place between 27th to 29th September, 2016 at The Dome, NSCI, Mumbai.

Usually the event is held close to the IIJS, but it is taking a little different approach this year. The shit to January is being cited after discussions with prospective participants who felt the dates in September were too close to the festive season to prepare for the event. This is to be the 7th edition of the event.

The decision to postpone the event is made keeping in mind readiness of prospective participants to prepare for the show and ensure that IIJW continues as the ‘Trendsetter Jewellery Show’ for the Industry.
