ALROSA reports H1 2016 IFRS results

PJSC ALROSA, the global leader in rough diamond production, reports H1 2016 IFRS results. 

ALROSA's H1 2016 revenue totaled RUB 186.7 bn, which is an increase of 42% y-o-y. EBITDA grew by 58% vs H1 2015 and totalled RUB 111.3 bn, with EBITDA margin going up to 60%. 

Net income and free cash flow doubled y-o-y to RUB 90.4 bn and RUB 78.7 bn respectively. 

Andrey Zharkov, CEO of PJSC ALROSA, commented: "The Company's H1 financial results were affected by the moderately steady diamond market and ruble depreciation against US dollar compared to H1 2015. ALROSA maintains conservative outlook on the diamond market and executes permanent costs control".
