South Africa’s richest man plans to take control in Trans Hex

A wealthy man, the richest in South Africa - Christo Wiese, intends to take control in Trans Hex Group Ltd., as reported in a leading media. He has formed a consortium of investors for the same, reports add. Two companies supported by the Wiese family - Cream Magenta 140 Proprietary Ltd. and Metcap 14 Proprietary Ltd., have bought 47 percent stake in the company.

Plans are to join with RECM & Calibre Ltd., which owns 25 percent to form a consortium which then would have 72 percent stake in the compnay, as per reports. Further, the consortium could approach the shareholders for the remainder of the stakes, as per reports.
