India Pavilion showcases at JCK Las Vegas Show with 50 leading companies

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council is hosting the India Pavilion with 50 of the leading Indian gems and jewellery companies, at the JCK, Las Vegas Show, as per reports. The event is slated between June 3-6, 2016.

The exhibitors in the India Pavilion will showcase products ranging from loose diamonds, loose coloured gemstones, plain gold jewellery, diamond and coloured stone studded jewellery. This is the 13th consecutive year wherein the Indian Pavilion is being organised at JCK Las Vegas. It is located at the Diamond Plaza and the Passport Location, as per reports. There will also be an “India Gallery” showcasing finest jewellery selected for the show.

India exported gems and jewellery to the US worth US$ 8,706.59 million between January to December 2015, which was 23 percent of India’s total gems and jewellery exports in the said months.

GJEPC Chairman Praveenshankar Pandya noted that India was in a phase of vibrancy, passion and dynamism, creating a niche for itself. Also, the growth in the percentage share of India’s gem and jewellery exports to the US underscores the increased interest in Indian jewellery, as per reports.
