IGC’s manufacturing HR Manager bestowed honor title of Officer in the order of Leopold II

Mr. Chakkrit Bhamornsatit, HR Manager for IGC manufacturing was recently bestowed with the high honour title of “Officer in the order of Leopold II” by H.E. Marc Michielsen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Thailand. The ceremony held on February 16th at the Belgian Ambassador’s residence saw a gathering of honourable guests, family, friends and colleagues.

Mr. Chakkrit was recognised for this honor for his services in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility projects. He was granted the medal by His Royal Highness King Philippe of Belgium.

Mr. Chakkrit’s devotion to people in need started in the 1980’s when he worked as a UNHCR volunteer in refugee camps along the Thai-Cambodian border. From 1993 onwards Mr. Chakkrit worked as the HR Manager for IGC manufacturing worldwide and took the lead in numerous CSR projects in Laos, Thailand and Botswana. His dedication, free will, high morality and voluntary efforts have seen Mr. Chakkrit devoting his time and efforts in generously helping the most needed in this world, as IGC Group proudly recounts.
