Participation and attendance at the International Diamond Week in Israel is scaling. A delegation from Italy headed by Gaetano Cavalieri, President of CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, has confirmed its attendance, as per reports.

At the event, Dr. Cavalieri is expected to meet leaders of the diamond, gem and jewelry industries, Israel Diamond Exchange's newly elected President, Yoram Dvash, and members of the IDE board.

Dr. Cavalieri notes the visit to IDE as always being important, especially during the IDWI as it offers an unmatched selection of merchandise, and more so during the IDWI, as per reports. "The Israel Diamond Exchange, as leader in the international diamond industry and trade, has long played a pivotal role in supplying jewelry manufacturers and retailers worldwide with the full array of top-quality diamonds. More recently its members have become major producers of high-end diamond jewelry. We, therefore, are expecting to see more than just loose diamonds, but also a selection of innovative jewelry designs produced by Israeli diamond firms," he added.

IDWI is slated from February 14 to 18 at the Israel Diamond Exchange in Ramat Gan.

IDE President Yoram Dvash welcomed the CIBJO President's announcement, saying "Gaetano Cavalieri is a great and trusted friend of the Israeli diamond sector. We are honored by his support, and grateful for his contribution to our industry,” as per reports.
