A London Court pronounced the seven members of the Hatton Garden vault robbery gang as guilty, as per British police, reports say. The robbery took place over the Easter bank holiday in 2015, when the gang broke into a Hatton Garden vault and fled with gold and jewellery worth around US$20 million. Pursuant to the police investigations, US$5 million worth of gold and jewelry has been recovered so far and the police have announced a prize money worth around US$30,000 to one who gives the location of the remaining jewellery or identifies a man named ‘Basil’ who is linked to the robbery, as per reports.

Hatton Garden jewelers were also those who kept their stock in the vaults during the bank holiday. The police noted that investigation was a ‘thorough and complicated’ one and based on the high evidence half the gang chose to plead guilty, as per reports.
