The Israel Diamond Exchange is going to host a number of Ambassadors, Consuls and economic attaches on February 16 during the upcoming Israel Diamond Week. The diamond week will be held between Feb 14 and 18. The diplomats are expected to tour the IDE and its trading floor, visit the Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum, witness an auction of magnificent diamonds and jewellery pieces and attend a concert in the nearby Diamond Theater, as per a release from the IDE.

On the occasion, the Israeli-French auction house Tzoffey's 1818 will hold two auctions-while, the first is a B2B auction of special diamonds, the second, of magnificent jewellery pieces, is for the public at large.

As Avner Sofiov, president of Tzoffey's 1818, says, “Viewing of the pieces will take place in the days leading up to the auctions, and on February 16, we will hold an auction on request i.e. of those pieces that have been selected during the viewings."

Further elaborating on the issue, the release says that the auction will be held at Diamond Theater and will be followed by a concert of the Tel Aviv Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Ronen Nissan, Music Director of the Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra of Tull, Austria.
