Monaco grand prix seems to have taken one and all in its stride what when the 'Steinmetz Diamond Group', McLaren Mercedes team sponsor, had provided diamond-studded helmets to Formula One championship leader, Lewis Hamilton, and his double world champion team mate, Fernando Alonso.

After the race, both helmets are set aside to be auctioned for charities of the drivers’ choosing.
