50-carat yellow diamond necklace unveiled at DIJW

Dubai International Jewellery week showcased a yellow diamond necklace at the weekend which was worth $4.1 million in total, with its centre piece accounting for $3 million and surrounding diamonds around $1.1 million. While the yellow diamond is of 50- carat, the surrounding diamonds amount to 45-carat in totality. 

The beautiful diamond necklace came from Mahallati Jewellery, a UAE-based company, with its retail chain in the gulf region, but sourcing its diamonds from Bangkok. The Dubai show took place between Dec 9 and Dec 12, with more than 100,000 pieces of jewellery in diamond, gold, coloured gemstones, pearl, etc, on display. The show was organised at Dubai World Trade Centre.
