This is for the first time that the position of Vice President has been vested with such responsibilities and duties in Alrosa. Increasing the effectiveness of corporate governance and risk management, as well as forming of appropriate business units are envisaged by Corporate Governance Code approved by Russian government. 

It may be recalled that Vladislav Zhdanov was formerly in charge of marketing risks management and business model optimization at machine-building holding company Zhejiang Noblelift Equipment JSC in CIS and Eastern Europe.
