Sean Connery’s diamond pendant goes for $4 million at Sotheby’s

Sotheby’s has described the whopping price of $4 million for Sean Connery’s diamond pendant, sort of a record, at its magnificent jewels auction in Geneva. The 15.20 carat piece was sold at the auctioneer’s magnificent jewels and noble jewels tender in Geneva this week, at $266,063 per carat. Originally, it was slated to sell for $1.2 million to $2.2 million. 

The renowned James Bond actor also sold a single 5.18 carat pear-shaped diamond in a ring which went for $249,300, having been estimated at $145,600 to $244,300.
