Senco Gold jewellery now accessible on Amazon

Senco Gold Ltd is bringing its jewellery online on Amazon.in, thereby initiating its online marketing strategy, reports say. The platform will retail Senco’s lightweight jewellery in gold and diamonds between price points Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 1.5 lakh, reports add. Apart from expanding through the online medium, the company also plans to introduce a new 45- second television advertisement advertising campaign featuring Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly endorsing it along with gift offers. The campaign would also focus on the renowned jewellery art in Bengal, as per the Kolkata based company, reports suggest.

The company currently boasts 70 brick and mortar stores in India, some of which are on franchisee model and plans to add two to three such stores to the list. The company also plans an IPO in 2017-18, as per reports.
