The 4th Israel Diamond Week in New York is being slated on the trading floor of the DDC between October 19-22 and registrations for the same have begun.

This edition is likely to witness around a hundred Israeli diamond traders interacting with the American diamond industry. With US being a key market for Israel, infact one of the most important as per the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) President Shmuel Schnitzer, the event is important for the trade body. He noted that the IDE and the Israel diamond traders look forward to ‘create many win-win scenarios for the members of both bourses and the visiting buyers, toward the holiday sales season’. With New York being the door to the diamond and gem and jewellery trade in the US, DDC President Reuven Kaufman noted that ‘Israel has been one of the largest trading partners for the North American diamond market’ and that the ‘diamond trading centers of Israel and New York complement each other.’
