IIDGR to launch synthetic melee screening and referrals testing in India

The De Beers Group of Companies announced that its International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research (IIDGR) is soon going to launch a low cost, high volume synthetic melee screening and referrals testing service in India. The new service will use IIDGR’s industry-leading proprietary technology to support the wider Indian industry in the detection of undisclosed synthetic diamonds. The launch is slated for October 2015.

IIDGR will showcase its range of diamond technology at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from 18 to 22 September 2015, with technical research experts on hand to demonstrate the instruments.

The International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research was established by The De Beers Group of Companies to provide a premium service and proprietary equipment to the diamond industry.
