diamond world news service

Online portal Eves24.com makes it no longer necessary for a jewellery lover to buy a jewellery piece for an occasional wear, reports say. Through the portal, one can hire jewellery for an occasional wear to suit the attire and return it when the event is over. The company notes that its services enable one to do away with not only the need of having to buy a jewellery piece for an occasional wear however expensive it may be, but also eliminate the dislike of repeating jewellery pieces at parties or occasions.

All the jewellery on the portal is certified by international agencies and are priced competitively with price points beginning at Rs.15,000, reports add. The company intends to launch a Rs.8,000 bracket for their minimum jewellery range.

To use services of the portal, women can access the 'Jewellery Library', with a usage fee which is just an annual membership renewable each year. The portal offers four membership plans - Rs.100,000, Rs.200,000, Rs.500,000 and Rs.1 million. A customer fills in the membership form, sign the company's membership agreement and create a Smart Security for the firm, reports add. Following this a user ID and password is provided by the company to begin hiring. No limits are placed on the number of Easy Jewel or Jewel Library transactions, but would be as per the membership plan selected. The portal also provides facility for an Eves24 club member to opt for daily wear jewellery by paying in interest-free EMIs, reports add.
