PDE and WJH plan roadshow in Brazil

Recognize Brazil as a powerhouse on an international scale

Around 10 members led by the Panama Diamond Exchange (PDE) and World Jewelry Hub (WJH) plan to pay a visit to Brazil at a time when Feninjer 2015, the biggest jewellery trade fair in the country would be held. The visit is being planned between August 12-15, 2015.

This would be the fifth location in the region being visited by the trade bodies, the others being Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Santiago, Chile. All visits are part of the outreach endeavor in the region, by the organizations. The visit to Brazil would include a roadshow in São Paulo, Brazil's business capital and is expected to be attended by members of the local trade.

According to reports, Ali Pastorini, Director of Marketing of the World Jewelry Hub mentioned Brazil is being recognized as a ‘powerhouse on an international scale’ as such exhibiting immense potential for the synergies between PDE, WJH and the country’s jewellery sector, reports add. The delegation is being led by Ali Pastorini, Director of Marketing of the World Jewelry Hub and will comprise the following 10 members -- Diamante Grupo, DHV America, Dianco, Interjewel, Kiran Jewels (Gemdiam), Niru Group, Ofer Mizrahi, Panamis Diamonds, PSD Diamonds.

Brazil houses a jewellery sector of around 22,000 companies, with $2.6 billion in revenue generations in 2014. The revenues are expected to rise to $3.5 billion by 2019, reports say.
