Rajesh Exports, the leading jewelllery firm which recently concluded buying gold refinery Valcambi transaction is now looking to enter into the Australian markets, reports say. The intent of this expansion is to ensure a steady supply of gold, reports say.

The company noted that it has made a list of interesting assets in Australia and is pursuing prospects there, reports add. The same would be taken forward after the completion of the Valcambi deal as per the company, reports say.

Also, reports cite that company Chairman – Rajesh Mehta had earlier indicated an interest to spend around $700 million on Australian gold assets, to secure gold supply for his jewellery business.
