Shree Ganesh Jewellery's sales up 8.35% in March'15 quarter

A leading Indian gold and diamond jewellery manufacturing and exporting company - Shree Ganesh Jewellery House (I), recorded a rise of 8.35 percent in its sales during the three months ending March 31, 2015. The sales valued Rs 60.70 crore, rising above the sales of Rs 56.02 crore recorded in March 2014 quarter, reports say. Despite this, the company accounted a net loss in the same period, which valued Rs 144.58 crore (which as higher than net loss of Rs 137.92 crore in the March 2014 quarter).

IN the year closing March 31, 2015, the company recorded a net loss worth Rs 760.37 crore which was lower than the net loss of the previous corresponding year which stood at Rs 771.89 crore. There was a 95.43 percent drop in yearly sales to Rs 448.86 crore, from Rs 9830.66 crore worth of sales accounted in the previous year, reports add.
