The Summer Edition of the International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI), according to the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) will be held from August 30 to September 3, 2015. IDE’s trading halls will be the venue for the event.

The IDE is holding the event a few weeks prior to the major gem and jewelry trade shows in Asia, enabling traders and wholesalers to purchase and prepare goods for the Fall shows in Bangkok, Shenzen and Hong Kong.

"These semi-annual diamond trading weeks have proven to be not only great networking events, but also a very effective sales platform, both for visiting buyers, as well as for the local members," explained Israel Diamond Exchange President Shmuel Schnitzer. "As we continue to stage these low-cost, low-threshold events, we are offering all our members, no matter the size or volume of their businesses, an opportunity to meet international buyers, network and develop new business contacts," he added.

IDE Treasurer Moti Fluk, who also heads the IDWI Organizing Committee, said: "We invite buyers to save the date, visit the website and leave their contact details. We are already working to make the IDWI Summer Edition as successful as the previous one, and look forward to welcome even larger numbers of buyers in August."
