Telangana CM to offer Rs 5 crore worth of golden ornaments to Lord Venkateswara

The Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekar Rao, is making a spiritual journey, with offerings to please the many Indian gods and goddesses. He plans to make a trip to the abode of Lord Venkateswara, in Tirumala, to make an offering of Rs 5 crore worth of golden ornaments, reports say. He intends also to offer nose rings to Goddess Padmavathi in Tiruchanur and Goddess Durga in Vijayawada, a golden crown for Goddess Bhadrakali in Warangal and golden mustaches for Kurivi Veerabhadreswara Swamy temple. This apart, he will also offer a prayer at Ajmer Sharif dargah with a Rs 2.50 lakh-worth chaddar, reports add.

He has mentioned intend to build a guesthouse in Ajmer for Telangana pilgrims with free accommodation.
