GJEPC selects winners for highest exporters in India

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, which holds a yearly awards ceremony of the highest export generators from India, has announced the winners for the current year. There were 20 categories judged in total. The council awarded DTC sightholders K. Girdharilal International Pvt. Ltd., Kiran Exports (Groups), Sheetal Manufacturing Co., C. Mahendra Exports Ltd., in the category of Cut and Polished Diamonds (DTC). The Cut and Polished Diamonds (Others) slot was bagged by J.B. & Brothers, Hari Krishna Exports, Dharmanandan Diamonds and Shairu Gems.

Pertaining to Studded Gold Jewellery DTA - Sya India Jewellers Pvt. Ltd., and Kama Jewellery (I) P. Ltd. will be felicitated, while for the Plain Gold Jewellery DTA award – Rajesh Exports Ltd. and Suman Jewellery of Delhi were chosen.

The Cut and Polished Coloured Gem Stone category had two winners - Vaibhav Gems Ltd. and Kothari Gems. The Highest Importer of Cut and Polished Diamond-USA were Sanghavi Diamonds Inc. and Indian Diamond Inc., whereas the Highest Importer of Coloured Gem Stone was Lee Gems & Jewellery Co. These winners would be felicitated at an awards function which is slated for the 5th of October at New Delhi according to news sources.
