Diamond industry felicitates Shri Haribhai P Chaudhary,Minister of State for Home

A grand felicitation ceremony in honour of Shri Haribhai P Choudhary was held on November 20, 2014, at S G Jhaveri Trading Hall, Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mumbai.

The event was held to felicitate Shri Haribhai P Chaudhary on his recent appointment as Minister of State for Home, Government of India. The event was organised by the Gem &Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB), Mumbai Diamond Merchants Association (MDMA), Palanpur Samaj Kendra and Vidyamandir Trust Palanpur. The ceremony was presided by Anoop Mehta, President, BDB; Vipul Shah, Chairman, GJEPC; Arunkumar Mehta, Co-founder Rosy Blue; Mahendra Gandhi, Vice President, MDMA; Rajiv Mehta, Director, Dimexon Group.

Shri Haribhai Chaudhary, Member of Parliament from Banaskatha, has been closely associated with the diamond community over several years and is an alumnus of Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur. Anoop Mehta in his welcome speech mentioned that the diamond industry is pleased at his recent appointment as MOS for Home. The industry hopes that he would be a help in finding the solution to the industry problems as he himself has been a part of it for almost 20 years.
