First Jewellery Show in Tehran

Teheran held its first ever trade jewellery show, last week between August 29-31.
The jewellery items on display included rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings, and also with some of them embedded in precious stones. The worth of these jewellery pieces totaled to $50 million.

The jewellery show reiterates the importance of the industry for Iran�s revenue source. According to the show's manager Ali Nikmard Tehrani ,the jewellery industry is a main source of revenue for the country after oil exports and the carpet industry.
