Stay Strong
With the pandemic resurfacing in varied measure and intensity across the globe – diamond businesses are again going through rounds of uncertainty and price volatility. On the other hand, the tug-of-war between natural diamonds and lab grown ones reaches a new high, as world’s renowned fashion jewellery brand Pandora raises doubts over the ethicality of naturally mined diamonds.

Then there are issues of a supply crunch of roughs and niche cuts. Logistical difficulties persist and despite the fat stimulus packages rolled out in the USA, Indian exporters haven’t been able to cash in on the opportunity because of the current lockdown.

Difficulties exist and they are testing the mettle of one and all. ‘Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.’
