New ways of transacting business
Covid will leave this earth at some point, but the fact remains that it will eternally change the way we function as individuals and as business entities.

The diamond business is known for functioning on credit model, but now the diamantaires are embracing a no cash, no diamonds policy. The cash on delivery of goods will solve the liquidity issue the industry is currently facing and help companies, especially small and middle sized ones stay strong.

Almost all companies have began work in full swing with 60 per cent capacity. Thanks to GJEPC’s quick thinking, we were able to avoid an oversupply of rough diamonds. But this has also led to a shortage of goods - leading to an increase in price by about 15% and companies are willing to pay the premium in cash to get their hands on goods.

Come festival season, the news will only get better, as demand for diamond studded jewellery will be on the rise.
