Light at the end of the Tunnel
After much speculation, Baselworld 2021 has been cancelled. We are still not sure about what the MCH group has in mind for the future. Is this the end of the show? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile there seems to be some glimmer of hope in the gems and jewellery industry in India as businesses opened partially in Surat & Jaipur. And patience and resilience seem to be keywords to see the industry out of the current crisis as well as the impending economic challenge. Diamond shipments worth several million dollars were sent to Hong Kong via Mumbai.

Antwerp too has opened up after a long lockdown. All the same, we will have to wait and watch if things will resume its former glory.
