It’s that time of the year. Come Dhanteras & Diwali, it is customary for Indians to invest in something precious. No matter what the state of affairs are, no matter how expensive gold has become, Indians believe in buying jewellery during this auspicious time. The whole industry has been sailing on the good luck factor, this year is no different.

Retailers across the country have been slashing down prices on making charges and are offering heavy discounts on gold and diamond jewellery to lure more customers to their stores. If what we hear is true, some jewellers have outperformed last year in terms of footfalls and sales

. Light weight diamond jewellery have been seeing an uptick. The whole industry expected a lacklustre Diwali sales, considering the market sentiment but it seems like nothing can stop our people from being mesmerised by the allure of gold and diamonds! Happy Diwali one and all!
