Demand for Rare Goods Remains Intact
U.S. shows a lot of promise, considering retail continues to boom, as markets are gradually opening amidst a strong vaccine drive. Fancy shape diamonds are in hot demand as consumers are increasingly inclined towards buying engagement rings with fancy shape diamonds.

The morale in the U.S. is high considering people’s spends have gone up. But uncertainty looms in Mumbai, as lockdown restrictions have become tighter, even though Bharat Diamond Bourse has been exempted from the restrictions.

In other news, a 2.17 ct fancy vivid pink-purplish diamond went under the hammer for $3.5 million. It just goes to show that demand for niche goods will continue to stay strong no matter what.
