Christie’s Auction of Magnificent Jewels on June 8

On the design front, repurposing family jewellery, giving heirloom jewels a new lease of life, is surfacing across with the royal Patiala necklace worn by Emma Chamberlain at the MET Gala and recently the deconstructed Maharani neckpiece worn by Deepika Padukone at the Jury meet of the Cannes International Festival. Heritage jewellery going under the hammer at auction houses has set a trend. The first week of next month shall see Christie’s auction of some of the most magnificent jewels. Assemblage includes twelve jewels by JAR from The Estate of Ann Getty & The Light Of Africa Diamond.

Christie’s New York has announced the June 8 auction of Magnificent Jewels. The auction includes an exquisite assemblage of jewels from private collections, alongside signed jewels by Bhagat, Boucheron, Bulgari, Cartier, David Webb, Graff, Harry Winston, Raymond Templier,
