Holidays implicate a slack rough market, but a retail boom. US recorded 30 million more consumers shopping through Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday; than predicted by US’s National Retail Federation. A record 196.7 million Americans shopped during that time; the agency further predicts that retail sales will increase between 6% - 8% or $942.6 billion - $960.4 billion during the holiday time from Nov 1 to Dec 31, 2022. Globally, the trend to include sustainable business practices has top watch brands like Rolex selling certified pre-owned timepieces. India is aggressively promoting the gems and jewellery trade by planning and confirming economic tie-ups with UK, Australia, Mexico among other nations.
