A Diamond is a Woman's World
The De Beers Group 2019 Diamond Insight Report has thrown up some interesting trends in the diamond and jewellery consumption pattern of women. With 14% of women opting to purchase their own diamond rings and reportedly spending 33% more than men while at it, it’s truly a woman’s world.

As society continues to change according to the changing trends, relationships too have begun to evolve. However, the famous tagline coined by De Beers goes, ‘A diamond is forever’ still stands true. Love remains a constant but diamonds are now acquired and used in a wider variety of ways to symbolize it.

With the diamond industry suffering a long drawn slowdown, the addition of millennials as an emerging demographic and the rise of same sex couples have retained the importance of diamond studded jewellery. Luxury jewellers are on the rise as more and more millennials aspire to own jewellery from timeless brands that offer unparalleled luxury and can be passed down through generations.
