The jewellery pieces will travel through seven leading US retail stores
Winning designs of Rio Tinto’s Champagne Diamond Competition will be exhibited in US

The promotional tour of the four winning jewellery designs from Rio Tinto’s champagne diamond competition has commenced throughout the US. The four designs include - a necklace, two sets of earrings and a brooch. The wining pieces were manufactured by - Uni-Creation Inc, produced the winning design, Evelyn’s Huang’s Bulles de Champagne Collier; D.Navinchandra Gems manufactured the second prize design of Joana Miranda entitled Champagne Tango Earrings; Interjewel USA produced the third prize of Graham Edney’s entitled Butterfly Drop Earrings; and KIAH, part of the Sheetal Group produced fourth prize design of Vincent Bisazza’s Champagne Flute brooch.

Jean-Marc Lieberherr, General Manager for the sales and marketing of all diamonds from Rio Tinto’s mines, said “the manufacturers chosen to bring these designs to life represent the best in their craft. The finished pieces of jewellery are a testament to new design talent and uncompromising manufacturing.”

The champagne diamond competition featured in May this year, inviting new jewellery designers to showcase creativity in designing with champagne diamonds, from which Rio Tinto’s Argyle Diamond Mine is a leading supplier. The jewellery pieces will be exhibited at seven US retail outlets from November 2 to December 27.
