Venus Jewels and SRK order second GalaxyTM 1000 from Sarin

Venus Jewels and Shree Ramkrishna Export (SRK), two leading Indian diamond manufacturing companies have placed repeat orders for a second Galaxy system each, from Sarin Technologies Ltd. Both companies will utilize these for in-house purposes. The companies had first bought the GalaxyTM 1000 system in Q4 2009 (Venus Jewels) and Q1 2010 (Shree Ramkrishna Export) and had been operating them for three shifts daily, as Sarin stated.

Mr. Hitesh Shah, Partner in Venus, said, "We decided it is now time to acquire a second Galaxy system so as to continue benefitting from the unmatched inclusion mapping data and derivative optimised planning abilities offered by the Galaxy – AdvisorTM pair."

Mr. Kanti Narola, General Manager, Production of SRK, added, “Though we have succeeded to utilise the Galaxy system we acquired in early 2010 even in excess of its stated throughput of 90 stones a day in three shifts, having been faced with the need to outsource additional significant quantities of stones to Sarin’s service centre in Surat, we felt the need to acquire a second system for in-house operation”.

Uzi Levami, Chief Executive Officer of Sarin, expressed pride for the trust that both companies have placed in Srain and its cutting edge products and mentioned that “We are confident they will continue to benefit from the most advanced planning capabilities possible, as provided by the combination of the Galaxy’s inclusion mapping output and the latest Advisor’s (4.5) optimisation algorithms."

Venus Jewels is a DTC Sightholder and leading Indian diamond manufacturing company. Shree Ramkrishna Export, also a leading Indian diamond manufacturing company is a DTC Accredited Business (meeting the same rigorous De Beers’ Best Practice Principles (BPP) requirements as for sightholders)
