VelvetCase.com raises $1.5 million in funding

Leading online jewellery retailer VelvetCase.com is planning expansion in its technology, marketing and seller acquisition services. For this it has raised $1.5 million in a funding led by Uniqorn Ventures Fund and participation from investors TV Mohandas Pai and S Somasegar, reports say. This is the compnay’s second round of funding and was held through online deal-making platform LetsVenture, as per reports.

The company has been strengthening its capabilities with new talent hire from leading companies. Previously, the company raised $1million in 2014, as per reports.
