U.S. chain-store sales rise 3% in the week

Reports state that U.S. retail sales in the past week have been performed well. The said period saw a 3 percent increase in chain-store sales. Also, counter sales at the chains increased 2.1 over the previous week this month, following the rise in department store sales.
