Titan’s Q4 profits up 11.6%

In the fourth quarter of 2013-14, Titan noted a 11.6 percent increase (on y-o-y basis) in its profits, which valued Rs.206.44 crore, reports say. Total income was up 7.27 percent to Rs.2,803.38 crore, while earnings per share (basic) stood at Rs.2.33 (it was Rs.2.08 in the same quarter last year).

In the said three months, the company recorded good sales across all its retail formats, reports say.

On consolidated basis, the full year profits, valued Rs. 734.94 crore, up 1.31 percent, while total income rose 7.94 percent at Rs.10,927.39 crore, reports say.

The company's jewellery unit delivered an income worth Rs. 8,632 crore, rising 6.5 percent.
