Titan seeks to expand Tanishq

Titan Co. is seeking to expand its retail jewellery brand Tanishq, reports say. The company is considering increasing the size by over two times in the next five years, by expanding into new markets in India through a bigger network and new design portfolios, reports add.

Currently, there are 150 stores selling Tanishq jewellery. The company is tapping the middle class segment which it views as the largest segment for branded jewellery. For the current year, the company is looking at sales being slightly better than last year, reports add.
