The Mirage, World Peace Egg is a stunning creative and technical marvel of 1030 diamonds set in 18 karat gold and platinum. It was crafted to celebrate the strides taken toward the goal of World Peace. The objective from the start was to create a one of a kind, timeless monument to World Peace that would never be replicated and would be treasured for years to come. Although no structure is eternal, the gold and platinum towering Mirage World Peace Egg structure is a symbol of endurance and simplicity. The four arched pillars are embedded with 64 princess-cut diamonds. The pillars have been architecturally designed to support the hemispheres and the concealed rotation mechanism. The framework of the pillars replicates some of the most impressive towering structures in the world. Design elements from the Toronto CN Tower are evident in the shape and proportions of the base. The Toronto CN Tower is the tallest freestanding structure in the world standing 553.33 meters (1815 ft 5 in) tall. Toronto, Canada is also the home of the World Peace Egg where it was designed and skillfully crafted by Mirage Creations Inc. Every element of The Mirage is meaningful within itself and yet when put together to create a whole it takes on a very strong meaning. The egg symbolizes the origin of life. It is the inception of all great beginnings. Levon Abrahamyan, a Mirage master craftsman has set 865 princess-cut diamonds in this special monument.

Like the earth itself the Mirage World Peace Egg rotates upon its axis. Upon opening the top hemisphere, the Mirage World Peace Egg reveals an incredible replica of the earth as viewed from outer space. The globe, finely handcrafted from 18 karat gold, is accented with blue enamel inlay and gold threading. The polished gold seam of the hemispheres is inscribed with the words “World Peace”. The rays of light reflected by the diamond shell are transmitted through to the moonstone relief carving inside the top hemisphere. Characterizing the many ironies of the world, moonstone was used as a serene balance for the sun and its rays.
However -.To remind us that things are not always as they appear, the sun’s rays within the top hemisphere appear and disappear as the Mirage World Peace Egg rotates. This is an optical illusion created by the highly polished gold dome surrounding the moonstone relief.

Raising the globe’s top shell reveals the Dove of Peace, perched on a gold olive branch. The dove is hand carved from rock crystal with gold and enamel accents. The Mirage World Peace Egg is reflective of our own universe: complex, balanced, mysterious, yet truly fragile. The highly elaborate base is created from many of the earth’s natural elements including blue lapis lazuli; red ruby plate; faceted rock crystal; rough and polished diamonds; and gold and platinum trimming. The entire structure and towering Mirage World Peace Egg is set on a gold framed, polished rock crystal foundation. The clear rock crystal is soft ogee edged a
