Tara Jewellers recently launched its first showroom in Lucknow, spread over around 1300 sq. ft. A diya lighting ceremony by Chief Guest Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Mayor of Lucknow and Mr. Vikram Raizada, Executive Director & CEO Retail, Tara Jewels Ltd., marked the occasion. This step is an extension of the company’s retail expansion plans, in which it sees to open 50 company owned and managed showrooms across 37 cities in North, Central and Western regions of India.

Mr. Vikram Raizada, said, “We are expanding from 38 company managed showrooms in 26 cities to 50 stores in 37 cities. Being well established in the market for the last 2 years, we will be now reaching out to a larger audience across states like Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand. We are delighted to bring the Tara Jewellers experience to Lucknow and Tara’s entry into new markets is an effort to continue the shift from the unorganized market towards the organized sector.”

The Lucknow showroom has been designed by international design consultancy Fitch, with warm decor in shades of purple. The store format, design and jewellery display have been conceptualized to ensure a complete consumer centric shopping experience. Elements of the showroom include – a Browse Wall showcasing jewellery displayed in a vertical format for consumers to get a good view; an Education Wall informs about various aspects of diamonds like 4 Cs, diamond quality ratings etc.; the Open Workshop enables customers to see the ‘behind the scenes’ of the craftsmanship and also watch any changes or repairs in utmost transparency ; the Collections Wall displays clusters of jewellery categories as sets enabling customers to have a better styling option and Consultation Tables offer customers the chance to sit and have in-depth discussion on their purchase.

Tara Jewellers is also having a special inaugural offer, that of making charges being as low as Rs. 199 on gold jewellery and in addition, upto 20 percent off on diamonds and labour. At the inauguration event, models displayed gold and diamond studded jewellery.
