Stephen Webster to be guest of honor at IDWI

Will join a diamond and jewelry marketing panel discussion at the event

Jewelry designer Stephen Webster will be the guest of honor at the winter edition of the International Diamond Week in Israel. He would be present on stage at the opening ceremony on February 15, and take part in a diamond and jewelry marketing panel discussion in the afternoon. IDWI is slated on IDE trading floor between February 14-18.

"I am excited to be coming back to Israel after an absence of more than 20 years, and look forward to take part in the International Diamond Week in Israel. High quality diamonds are an inedible part of my own jewelry creations, as well as the jewelry of the house of Garrard. I expect to be seeing a lot of those quality diamonds on the exchange floor during my visit!"," said Webster.

Israel Diamond Exchange President Yoram Dvash said Webster's arrival was very welcome. "One of my goals as president is to create much closer relationships with the world's trendsetting jewelry designers and producers. Israel, as the world's leading specialist in larger fancy shaped diamonds and fancy color diamonds has lots to offer to the top end of the jewelry design and manufacturing market.”

Stephen Webster has received an MBE for his services for training and skills in the British Jewellery Industry, and recently published his first book "Goldstruck: A Life Shaped By Jewellery."

The Israel diamond Exchange offers accredited and confirmed buyers three free nights in one of the IDWI's venue hotels in the Ramat Gan Diamond District.
