Stéphane Fischler re-elected as President of the AWDC

Members of the Antwerp diamond industry elected the new board members for the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) Board of Directors representing the trade. The elections were spread over June 14 and June 15. On June 27, during the first meeting of AWDC’s new Board of Directors, members re-elected Stéphane Fischler as President of the AWDC. The Board of Directors also appointed Nishit Parikh as Vice-President, representing the trade.

In total, four new board members were elected, while two current members were re-elected. In addition to Samir Mehta and Jacques Weisz, Vimal Lakhani, Nishit Parikh, Amratlal Chetankumar Shah and Rajiv Kothari were elected. The four newly elected board members will replace former members Kaushik Mehta, Ramesh Patel, Santosh Kumar Agarwal (Kedia) and Shailesh Javeri.
