The piece is estimated at US$750,000-950,000 and the net proceeds from its sale will benefit the New York City Ballet.
The Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels sale is slated on 7 October.
The making of the brooch took two years, crafted with 26.27 carat cushion-cut fancy brown diamonds and conch pearls. The design is inspired by the grace of the ballet dance. Its wearability has been kept flexible, in that it could be worn right-side up or upside-down, reports add.
