Since last year, organisers of JJS have preferred signing up supermodels and actresses as the face of the show, to leverage JJS's glamour quotient. JJS has been keeping pace with trends in creativity and in appealing to a wider audience including the young generation. Last year fashion model and actress Sonal Chauhan was the JJS brand ambassador.
JJS Secretary, Mr. Rajiv Jain said that this year, “Diamond – Jaipur Adds Colour to It” being the theme of the show. A Diamond Jewellery Promotion Group has been formed with prominent jewellers and Rio-Tinto being the prime sponsor, which will undertake promotional activities pan-India for trends in diamond jewellery”.
According to Mr. Jain-Jaipur has become a complete source for all types of jewellery in last few years. Jaipur’s diamond jewellery will be aptly promoted by the brand ambassador, Simran Kaur.
Mr. Ajay Kala, the media coordinator for JJS said that with Simran becoming the brand ambassador of JJS –brand ‘Jaipur’ will also get a fillip, especially when JJS is becoming preferred destination for bridal & colourstone jewellery.
JJS 2012 is slated between December 22-25 at the Raj Mahal Palace.
